You Can Create Tomorrow
This is my final project for art. For the assignment we could create anything we wanted, sticking within the theme of "You Can Create Tomorrow" For this piece I used a different color scheme than i'm used to, but overall I think the colors work nicely with each other. I used simple lines and shapes to create, what I think to be, a great piece overall. The only actually imagery I used were the trees that I vectorized. I messed around with with different asymmetric and symmetric aspects of design. The blue lines coming down and the pink triangles in the back, although similar to each other vary from each other, in shape and the pink triangles also vary in opacity.
SUCKA (In Progress)
(IN PROGRESS)
For this piece, the guidelines of the assignment was to create a hybrid design piece. Which meant we had to combine to different things to make it look like one. I haven't fully finished this project yet, but anyone who views this can get a general idea of what I am going for. I combined a simple sucker and had the end turning into true roots. I combined an inanimate object (the sucker) with something in nature (tree roots.) Everything in this piece is original imagery I drew up in photoshop, using the paintbrush tool and and blender tool. This is something, for the most part I usually don't do. In most of my projects I use simple shapes and lines to build of imagery, my own images, and text I create. This piece isn't anywhere done yet, still needs a lot of tweaking, regarding the blending and highlights all throughout. This piece definitely has potential to turn into something really great.
Music Video Day Poster Design
This is a poster design I designed for my school's annual "Music Video Day" Using similar elements that I used in my "Urgency" piece, I took similar imagery and color scheme to create a totally different design. If I were to go back and edit this piece, I would build up more depths amongst the hands and manipulate the text more to make it really pop and draw viewers eyes to the information being conveyed.
